Dosage form and active ingredients:

Each film coted circle tablet contains 5mg of Warfarin.

Indications and Usage:

Warfager® tablets belong to a group of drugs called anti-coagulants. You take Warfager® tablets to help thin your blood if you have had a heart problem, problems with blood clots or your blood flow.

Drug Dosage :

• Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
• Do not change your dose of Warfarin Tablets without talking to your doctor.
• Your doctor may test your blood while you are taking Warfarin Tablets.

Possible side effects:

Tell your doctor straight away if you have any of the following side effects:

• Unexplained nose bleeds, bleeding gums
• Unexplained bruising or pinpoint red spots on your skin
• Heavy bleeding or oozing from cuts and wounds
• Pink, dark red or brown urine
• Black tarry stools, vomiting blood or particles that look like coffee grounds , bleeding from the back passage (rectum)
• coughing up blood
• (in women) unusually heavy periods or bleeding from the vagina

Do not take Warfager® tablets if you:

• are allergic to Warfarin or to any of the other ingredient of this medicine
• are pregnant or may become pregnant or have had a baby in the last 48 hours
• have recently had a stroke caused by bleeding in the brain
• have had surgery within the last 72 hours or are going to have surgery in the next 72hours
• is taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), aspirin or anti-clottingmedicines as this may increase the risk of bleeding.

Breastfeeding

Warfager® is considered safe to use when breastfeeding.

•  Storage condition:
• This medicine does not require any special storage conditions.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Don’t use expired Warfager®.
• HDPE bottle pack should be used within 90 days after first opening.

Nature and contents of container

100 Tablets are packaged in each HDPE bottle of Warfager®.
